Accessibility
Metrrik is built to be used by everyone, whatever their abilities.
01Our commitment
Metrrik is committed to making its platform accessible to everyone, whatever their abilities. We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, as our target standard.
This page describes our current practices, known limitations and how to contact us if you run into any difficulty.
02Accessibility measures in place
- Keyboard navigation: all main features are accessible without a mouse.
- Screen readers: interface designed to be compatible with VoiceOver (macOS/iOS) and NVDA (Windows).
- Contrast: minimum ratio of 4.5:1 on body text, 3:1 on large text and graphic elements.
- Alternative text: every functional image and icon carries an alt attribute or aria-label.
- Text size: content adapts without loss of information up to 200% browser zoom.
- Visible focus: clear focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Declared language: a lang attribute is set on every page (fr / en depending on the chosen language).
03Known limitations
Some sections are still being improved:
- Some complex data tables are not yet fully marked up for screen readers.
- Charts and visualizations do not yet have complete alternative descriptions.
- A few modal windows may present keyboard navigation difficulties in certain browsers.
We are actively working to fix these points. If you run into a difficulty that is not listed, please let us know.
04Technologies used
Metrrik relies on the following technologies to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML5
- ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
- CSS (focus and contrast management)
- JavaScript (dynamic focus management and live announcements)
05Compatibility
Metrrik is designed to work with the following browser / assistive technology combinations:
- Chrome + NVDA (Windows)
- Firefox + NVDA (Windows)
- Safari + VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
- Chrome + TalkBack (Android)
